You suspect that someone is trying to input password on your Android phone when you leave it unattended, might be while charging it, but you are not sure who he or she is. Well, it’s not a problem any more.

Hidden Eye for Android

is an amazing application which takes a photo of the person who tries to gain unauthorized access to your phone.

Your phone must have a front-camera for the app to work. If the device meets that criteria, let’s see how the app works.

Hidden Eye for Android

After you install Hidden Eye on your Android, launch it. When you run the app for the first time, you will have to activate the service by giving the app administrative rights over your device. Tap the ON button on the app and activate the device administrator for it.

After you have activated the device administration for the app, you don’t have to do anything, Hidden Eye will take care of the rest. Every time it detects a wrong password input, it will access the device front camera and silently take a snapshot of the person.

Next time you provide the correct password and access your phone, the application will show you the photo it clicked and you will know who tried to access your Android while you were away, along with the date and time.

I have synced the folder Hidden Eye uses to store the images on Dropbox. Who knows, this might come in handy if the phone gets stolen some day.
