In the age of Slack and Microsoft Teams, Discord has become a sleeper hit among consumers, enthusiasts, and gaming communities. However, there are times when things go South, and you get banned on a server and even on the platform. Here’s how to know if you are banned from a Discord server.

The server admin can remove and add members to the conversation. For a healthy environment and communication, the Discord admin may ban several members from joining the server again. If you have faced the same, check the effective ways to confirm your blocked status.

Types of Ban on Discord

Before we start, you should understand the types of bans on Discord.

• Server ban: Did you get into a spat with one of the server members on Discord? The admin may take a look and ban you from accessing the server. You can’t log into a specific server anymore. It’s entirely up to the admin to lift the ban on your account.

If a server doesn’t appear, the admin may have deleted it or turned off Server Discovery. If you can see the server, the admin has kicked you out or banned you.  If you have been banned on a server for pointing out irregular activities, report such servers on Discord.

Join the Server via an Invitation Link

Do you still have the Discord server link? You can open it to join the server again. If you have been banned from a server, you get an ‘Unable to accept invite’ error. The same message also appears if the invite link has expired. Admins have the option to set an expiry for the invitation link.

If you can join the Discord server, you were only kicked out and not banned. Do note that Discord limits users from joining too many servers. You can join up to 100 servers on Discord. If you have Discord Nitro, you can join up to 200 servers.

Confirm If Server Has Been Deleted
