Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is all about playing aggressively, trying to take on the hordes of enemies whilst racing around Metropolis – and to do this, you will need to know how to harvest shields effectively.
The game follows the titular characters as they struggle to free Metropolis of Brainiac’s alien invasion. Your character’s biggest asset in this battle is just how mobile they are combined with a selection of guns and weapons to keep them constantly on the offensive.
All characters can harvest shields, so whether you’re playing as Boomerang, King Shark or even a DLC character once they release, this will remain the same.
How to harvest shield

You will need to use this feature after you take damage as it is one of the only ways to replenish your health during a skirmish:
- Shoot your opponent’s legs, use grenades on them or use traversal attacks to get their health low
- Once their health is low enough, a blue prompt will appear
- Perform a melee attack using R2/RT as the prompt suggests
- The enemy will drop some lovely blue shields in the process
You can keep an eye on your shield in the top right of the screen, but your screen will also flash red when your shields are low anyway – so you shouldn’t miss it.
Also, keep an eye out for the prompt that appears to the right of your crosshair when an enemy that can be used to shield harvest is nearby. You’ll need to look directly at the enemy when you pull the trigger, so make sure you’re as accurate as possible!
