| Merciless | “For highly advanced players. Exceedingly challenging combat. Your choice of difficulty will not affect the story and can be changed at any time, but you cannot return to Merciless once leaving it.” |

Thankfully, no, Persona 3 Reload does not have any difficulty-based trophies in its trophy & achievements list. As long as you follow everything else in that list, you’ll be able to unlock the Persona 3 Reload platinum no matter which difficulty you choose to play.
