This includes anti-impersonation protections, enhanced visibility/support, and a blue check mark.
Subscriptions cost $11.99 per month on the web and $14.99 per month on iOS and Android.
According to Meta, they introduced this package to make it easier for people to establish an Instagram presence.
To be eligible, you need to meet the minimum activity requirements and be 18 years of age or older.
You’ll also need to submit your government ID and selfie video to prove your identity.
How to get Meta Verified on Instagram
To verify Meta on Instagram, you need to go to the Account Center, select “Meta Verified” and follow the on-screen instructions to get verified.
The verification process requires you to set up a payment method, provide an ID, and take a selfie video to prove your identity.
Here’s how to get Meta Verified:
- Open the Instagram app and go to your profile.
- Menu > Settings > Account Center > Meta Verified.
- Select the account for which you want to receive Meta Verified.
- Next > Add a payment method > Pay now.
- Upload your ID > Take a selfie video > Done.
Note: Meta Verified is currently only available in the US, Australia, and New Zealand—if you live outside of those countries, you’ll need to join the waitlist.
Once you’ve uploaded your ID and taken a selfie video, you’ll need to wait 48 hours for the verification process to complete.
In some cases, it may take more than 48 hours if there are too many submissions.
If your profile is not verified on the first attempt and you do not attempt to verify it another time, you will receive a refund.
You can apply again after getting a refund (if you’re using Apple Pay, it can take up to 60 days).
