HIGHLIGHTS:
- There are two ways into Gorak’s Suite – one is free, the other costs you money
- DO NOT BUY THE VIP INVITE! This is a scam, and you can’t get your Credits back
- The free method involves finding a secret vent and climbing up a ladder at the back of Makal’s bar
Early on in Star Wars Outlaws, you’ll be tasked with sneaking your way into Gorak’s Suite on the planet Toshara. It’s located in an upstairs area of Makal’s gambling bar, and while it seems like there are a couple of ways to access the place, there’s actually only one real method of sleuthing your way in.
Don’t bother buying the VIP invite
When you first enter Makal’s bar, you’ll notice an NPC that claims to sell VIP invites to Gorak’s suite.
Whatever you do, don’t buy this.
This NPC is a scammer and will charge you 50 Credits for the privilege. Not only is there a free way to get to your objective, but the VIP invite doesn’t even work – you’ll be laughed out of town by the bouncer.
If you do purchase the VIP invite by accident, there’s no way to get those 50 Credits back. Trust me, I learned the hard way.
Bribe your way in
If you don’t mind spending a few credits, then there’s an easy way that you can use to bribe your way into Gorak’s Suite.
Once you’re in Makal’s bar, head to the right and look for a corridor that peels off from the main area. On the left, you should see a technician fiddling with an access panel by a door. Speak to the technician and you’ll see a prompt to bribe them – it will cost you 150 Credits.

After you’ve bribed the technician, they’ll let you into the room with a computer terminal. Complete the Slicing puzzle to unlock the computer and you’ll be able to call down the Turbolift.
Once this is done, head back to the main bar area and look to the right to see the open Turbolift door. Head on in and it will take you straight to Gorak’s Suite.
However, if you don’t want to burn through your precious credits, there’s a way you can get into Gorak’s Suite for free…

I managed to gain access by heading through a door to the back left of the bar and walking around the outdoor balcony. I then headed inside the storage room where I found a vent (For context, my screenshot here was taken after I infiltrated Gorak’s suite, so it appears blocked up – those boxes won’t be there for you. Gorak clearly learned about his security flaw!).

Once here, I opened the vent and headed inside. There’s a ladder that takes you straight up to the floor above Makal’s bar.
After you walk into the elevator that’s there, it will take you directly to Gorak’s Suite.
If you complete either of these methods, this should finish the ‘Underworld’ mission. You’ll be rewarded with Gorak’s Ring, but we’ll cover what to do with that in a separate guide.
