How to do “Lost in the Sands” in Genshin Impact

To do the quest “Lost in the Sands” in Genshin Impact, you need to talk to Bonifaze in Aaru Village to get started, follow the quest signs and go inside the pyramid.

In the pyramid, you need to activate many mechanisms to open many doors and get out of it.

Here are 4 parts to complete the mission:

Part 1

1. Talk to Bonifaz in Aaru Village to start the quest “Lost in the Sands”.
2. Go to the quest marker and go to the bottom of the pit.
3. Talk to 4 people at 4 markers.
4. Go to the quest marker and meet the others with Jeht to start a cutscene and go to the next mission marker.

Part 2

1. Dash towards the cube (covered by sand) to reveal it and activate it to open the door leading to the pyramid.
2. Defeat the enemy, open the door and move forward.
3. Go to the top left corner of the room and activate the mechanism to go down.
4. Use Amber and use the bow to activate all 4 torches.

Part 3

1. Use Raiden’s Eletro to the Tri-Lakasha seed to reveal the hidden torch.
2. Activate the mechanism to open multiple doors and move forward.
3. Go down the stairs, pick up the objects on the ground and keep going forward to start the cutscene.
4. Activate the mechanism to go upstairs, talk to the unknown machine, and then return to the lower floor.

Part 4

1. Talk to Jebrael, talk to Tirzad and you’ll get the Scarlet Sand Slate gadget.
2. Return to the upper floor and interact with the mechanism to open the door.
3. Move forward, avoid the traps, pick up the forged primordial light, and stand on top of the replica set’s enigmatic crest stone to open the door.
4. Go into the area and pick up two other Forged Primal Lights.

Part 5

1. Stand on top of two mysterious keystones of the replica set.
2. Rotate the cell until it aligns with the other cell.
3. Open the last door and go inside the area.
4. Defeat enemies, open doors and find your way to the exit.

After you exit the pit, the quest “Lost in the Sands” will be completed.
