Enable promotional emails in Gmail
If you’ve turned off the Ads tab in Gmail, use the steps below to enable filters for your account.
Step 1: Open the Gmail website in a web browser and sign in with your Google account details.

You can also remove promotional emails from the Gmail mobile app. Since Gmail uses the same user interface on Android and iPhone, the steps below should work on both platforms.
Step 1: Open the Gmail app on your phone.
Step 2: Select the Promotion menu at the top.
Step 3: Tap the account picture next to each unrelated email. Repeat the same for all such emails.
Step 4: Select the delete icon at the top and move them to the Trash.

Unlike Gmail web, you cannot select all promotional emails at once. You must select each email separately and press Delete.

Step 1: Access Gmail on a web browser.

Not every email is irrelevant in the Promotions tab. It can make attractive discounts and notify you. Gmail offers the option to group top promotional emails in Ads. Here’s what you need to do.
Step 1: Go to Gmail web.
Step 2: Click the Settings icon in the top right corner.
Step 3: Select ‘View all settings’.
Step 4: Move to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
Step 5: Enable the check mark next to ‘bundle top promotional emails in Ads’.
You can now check all the important emails at the top in Ads. You won’t accidentally delete relevant messages from the Promotions tab.
