Every day, Facebook has become one of the most popular destinations for sharing photo albums online. Sharing your pictures with people with Facebook profiles is easy, but how do you share them with someone who doesn’t own a Facebook account?

Luckily, Facebook offers a way to get the public link for your photos or entire photo albums. Through this link you can share the album with anyone online. And, today we are giving a brief guide to show you the process of creating a public link for a photo album on Facebook. We’ll also share how to create a public link for each photo and share them with anyone.

Let us get started.

Steps to get public link to Facebook Photo Album

There can be multiple ways to reach the public link of a photo or album. We will discuss one of them, which is really the highlight.

Step 1: Log in to your Facebook account and on your home page, on the left sidebar, click image, as shown in the figure below.

Step 4: On the album page, at the top, you will see a settings button with options to Add Photo, Edit and a drop-down arrow. Click the drop-down menu and select the option to Share Albums.

Step 5: Once you do that, you will see a new dialog box appear on the screen. It will contain a link, the public link you are looking for. Copy it and share with whoever you like.

If you click on the link send Message (bottom left of .) Share Album dialog), you’ll be taken to another dialog where you can send the link as an email or Facebook message to an individual, multiple people, or a group.

Note: User just need to navigate to the given link using any browser. And, regardless of the fact that the user is a Facebook user or not, the user will be able to browse the shared album.

If you want to share a single photo, you can navigate to any of the three sections shown in Step 2 and open a photo in it. At the bottom of the photo you will see a Share select.

Clicking on that will open the photo sharing dialog with sharing options as shown in the image below.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t allow you to create a public link. Don’t worry, we have a trick to do it. Open the photo you want to share, right-click and Copy image location.

That will put the public link you want to your clipboard. Save it somewhere so you can share it with your friends when you want. I also suggest that you open the photo in full screen view. Along with that, the link you share will show a larger image.

Conclusion

The Facebook interface and user experience have changed over time. And the way you share snapshots on them has changed, too. This process is comprehensive for the latest look and will continue to work unless Facebook makes another change. Have fun and share a few of them right away.
