With pageless on Google Docs, you can create wide and long tables with no hassle. You can also easily adjust the images you insert in your Google Docs file to fit specific screen sizes. Here’s how to enable pageless on Google Docs for your PC or Mac:
Step 1: Open Google Docs in your preferred browser and sign in with your details.
Step 2: If you’re creating a new document, in the ‘Start a New Document’ group, click Blank Template. On the other hand, if you’re trying to convert an existing file on Google Docs to a pageless format, click it from your Recent Documents.
Step 3: At the top left of the opened document, click the File tab.
Step 4: Click Page Setup from the displayed options.
Step 5: At the top of the launched dialog window, click Pageless.
Step 6: To change the background color of the page, click the drop-down menu below the Background Color menu and choose your preferred color.
Step 7: If you want to set the pageless format as the default layout for your Google Docs files, click the ‘Set as Default’ button in the bottom left corner.
Step 8: Click OK to save your changes.
It’s important to note that when you convert a Pages document to Pageless, you may no longer see certain features. Features such as headers, footers, and watermarks do not appear in Pageless documents. You also cannot insert headers, footers, or watermarks. However, if you go back to Pages view, you can easily use those features in your document.
