Now that you’ve changed your Apple email ID to a different one, you need to make sure that users can contact you on iMessage and FaceTime through the new Apple ID.
Make changes in iMessage
Apple offers many ways like cell phone numbers and Apple IDs for anyone to contact you on iMessage. You need to make the relevant adjustments from the Settings menu to set the new Apple email ID as the default ID.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Scroll down to Messages.
Step 3: Open the Send & Receive menu.
