How to “Capture a SAM Site” in Warzone 2 DMZ

Are you looking to occupy a SAM Site in the DMZ?

Warzone 2 has many missions that you can complete to get rewards.

To check your quests, you need to open the “Faction Missions” menu.

Quests can be obtained from three factions including Legion, White Lotus and Black Mous.

Your starting faction is Legion and each faction has missions from different levels.

The tiers include tier 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 DMZ quests (the higher the tier, the better the rewards).

After completing a mission, you will receive the reward of that mission and unlock higher level quests.

The rewards that you can get are bonus XP, weapon blueprints and other quests.

How to “Snap a SAM Site” in Warzone 2 DMZ

To capture a SAM Site in Warzone 2 DMZ, you need to open the Vac Map and ping the missile icon (e.g. in Sarrif Bay).

After you’ve pinged a rocket icon, navigate to it and interact with the computer to take over the site.

How to wait for SAM to destroy the plane:

After you have captured the SAM Site, you need to wait for it to lock onto the aircraft and destroy it.
In the meantime, you need to protect the Site as other players may try to block it.
When SAM destroys an aircraft, it reduces the supply.

How to loot drop items:

After the SAM destroys a plane, open the Tac Map and ping the supplies.
Navigate to the supply and open it (it will take about 10 seconds) to complete the quest.

Tip #1: Make sure you pick up the white supplies and not the yellow ones as they don’t count.

Tip #2: If you can’t catch the supply drop, try changing the Use Button setting to “Tap to Reload” instead of “Priority Interaction”.
