How to fight Mysterio in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Before you can fight Mysterio in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you going to have to complete his side quest, which involves finding and completing all the Mysteriums that are littered around the city.
The Mysteriums are challenge portals that pit you against several illusory enemies that you will have to beat under certain conditions.
Once you have completed them all, the final part of the side quest will begin, so you need to head to Coney Island to finish it off once and for all.

To beat Mysterio in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you’re going to have to endure several phases of this immense battle. A little like Scarecrow from Batman: Arkham Asylum, Mysterio will grow to a gargantuan size and make your face some terrifying illusions, including locking you in a giant snow globe.
During the first phase, you will need to take out all of the henchmen he spawns that will do their utmost to take you down. They’re Mysterio’s version of the standard thugs you’ve been facing so far, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble with them, especially as you start unlocking more skills.
As you whittle down his health bar, Mysterio grows increasingly desperate, by eventually trapping you in a seemingly never-ending hallway. If you continue forward, there’ll be no end in sight, so make sure you turn around and head through the door that has mysteriously appeared.
During the final phase, Mysterio will transport you to a twisted fairground and summon multiple versions of himself to try and beat you. You’ll have to take down each of them to finally get a hold of the “real” Mysterio. Once you do, perform your finishing move and the fight will end.
