How to auto-fight in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

To auto-battle in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you need to select your starter Pokemon and you will have access to the feature immediately.

To use it, press the “R” button on your controller and your Pokemon will automatically pick up the item and battle nearby wild Pokemon.

Once you have this enabled, you can move around independently.

If you stray too far, your Pokemon will automatically revert to its Pokeball.

If your Pokemon is about to faint, it won’t enter the battle automatically until you heal it.

Please note that if you use auto-battle, your Pokemon will not be able to evolve or learn moves.

If you want to evolve Pokemon, you should disable this feature and fight your Pokemon manually.
