Many of us have had the same name for years, or you might have had an amusing team name in honour of your favourite player but they’ve now left – for this reason, it might be time to switch things up.
Your team name in Ultimate Team EA FC 24 will be shown in all of the Ultimate Team menus, as well as before matches and in the pause screen when you’re playing the game. The banners and flags on your ground will also present your name around the stadium during matches.

In the past, you could only change your name for a limited amount of time. However, this year you can change your team name as many times as you want. There is an objective in-game to change your name, so by following the steps below, you can get that much-needed XP.
- Once in Ultimate Team, from the home screen, press R1 / RB to go to Settings
- The third option in the Settings menu is Rename Club: select it
- Here you will have the option to change the Club Name & the Abbreviation
- Once you have submitted your name, press the third button titled Confirm Club Name
- It will ask you if you’re happy with your name, press Yes and you’re good to go
