Dates, platforms & fighters explained

Not only are you going to need to know how to get into the Mortal Kombat 1 Beta, but you’ll require information on the start and end dates, platforms, and content that will be available to players.

Mortal Kombat 1 is set to be a big entry for the legendary fighting franchise, with it splitting off into a universe that’s separate from the timeline of the previous entries. On top of new timeline shenanigans, it’s introducing a number of new mechanics like Kameo Fighters, taunting, and more.

If you’re one of the many fans of the franchise excited about this new entry, check out how to get into the Mortal Kombat 1 Beta below.

How to get into the Mortal Kombat 1 Beta

The only way to currently gain access to the Mortal Kombat 1 Beta is to pre-order the game. After you’ve pre-ordered, you’ll automatically be able to play once it becomes available.

For players pre-ordering a physical edition of the game, the relevant retailer will be providing codes that can be redeemed with a WarnerBros. Games Account, according to information revealed on Mortal Kombat’s Twitter.

Mortal Kombat 1 Beta start date and platforms

The Mortal Kombat 1 Beta will be taking place between August 18 2023, to August 21, 2023, giving players a whole weekend to try out the game before release.

Sadly, PC and Switch gamers will be missing out, as the beta is only available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players.

This will likely be the last chance to test the game before its September 19 launch, so players on the missing platforms will have to wait.
