Glowacka achieved this feat at the 1st International Plank Training Conference held in Illinois in May 2019 in front of a group of Guinness World Record officials. She held a plank for 4 hours, 19 minutes, and 55 seconds.
The yoga trainer took to Instagram after her victory to share how it felt to achieve this record: “I’m so grateful,” she wrote, “Truly, if you put the whole of you in what you believe, you gonna make it!”
Glowacka’s personal best in 2016 was around 2 hours meaning she doubled her personal best for the Word Record.
Before the International Plank Training Conference in 2019, her last personal best for planking was 4 hours and 1 minute, which means she beat her personal best by 19 minutes to set the new Guinness World Record.
According to her, regular practice allowed her to improve her planking skills and maintain a good posture. Her job as a yoga teacher helped her become an expert at planking.
