Apply Date and Time Stamps to Photos on iPhone, Android

Remember those old disposable Kodak cameras your family used to take on vacations? And how each of them has a timestamp in the bottom right corner of the printed image? Good times, huh?

Not really. For the most part, those timestamps are ugly. While the data, especially the dates are useful, the presentation is not very good. So when we go digital, the timestamp, along with other EXIF data such as GPS coordinates embedded in the data file itself, is not visible directly on the image.

If you’re smart, you can easily figure out stuff like this, but the problem is it’s not easily viewable by say, your grandma. You need EXIF viewer apps for that.

If you need to send a photo to someone with a timestamp, or just want to timestamp a photo for your own collection, let me walk you through two apps for iOS and Android that will do this for you. Friend.
