In recognition of her contributions, Andrea Jenkyns was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire on June 9, 2023, as part of the 2022 Prime Minister’s Resignation Honors. She is also known for her vegetarian lifestyle, advocacy for animal rights, and support for maintaining the ban on fox hunting. Additionally, Jenkyns has showcased her talents as a soprano singer, and her dogs Lady and Godiva won top prizes at the Westminster Dog of the Year show in 2015.
