Fans of EA Sports’ fight sim will be wondering if UFC 5 will be coming to Xbox One and PS4 – the last generation of consoles. UFC 5 is the first new entry in the series since 2020 when UFC 4 came out. Since then we have received a whole new console generation which means the release of the game on previous consoles isn’t guaranteed.
The first look at UFC 5 is here, and to the surprise of some the game is arriving later this year, not long after EA Sports’ other sports game FC 24. We also had the opportunity to sit down with the devs to discuss UFC 5, which you can check out here.

Unfortunately, no, UFC 5 will not be coming to PS4 as it is set to be a current-gen exclusive. A lot of this will be because of the technical demands of the new game being 60 FPS and moving over to Frostbite for the very first time.

UFC 5 won’t be arriving on Xbox One either. This is, once again because of the demands of the game, and follows a pattern of more and more games beginning to leave the older systems behind. Just recently Starfield, Dead Space Remake, Redfall and more have all opted to leave the previous consoles behind.
