Jack Hogan Death

Born on November 24, 1929, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Hogan earned his pilot’s license at the age of 16 and eventually joined the Air Force after graduation.

He also spent four years serving as a staff sergeant in Japan during the Korean War. Hogan then worked as a lifeguard at the Beverly Hills Hotel and began taking acting classes at the Pasadena Playhouse.

Hogan made his onscreen debut as an uncredited role in the 1956 film; Man From Del Rio. He guest starred in the films; Dr. Christian, The Rough Riders, Sea Hunt, Tombstone Territory, Lock Up, Bat Masterson, Lawman, 87th Precinct, and more.

He became a household name following his role as PFC William G. Kirby on the ABC TV series “Combat” and appeared in the films; “The Bonnie Parker Story”, “Paratroop Command”, “The Legend of Tom Dooley”, and “The Cat Burglar”.

Hogan’s other film credits include appearances on S.W.A.T., Hawaii Five-O, Kojak, Quincy M.E., Magnum P.I., The A-Team, and twelve (12) episodes of Jake and the Fatman.
