Where to find Fennekin in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC

All of the Kalos region starters are back in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC, so here’s how you can find Fennekin and evolve it into Braixen and Delphox.

There are loads of returning fan-favourite Pokemon in The Indigo Disk, including the loveable fox Fennekin. It was previously possible to catch Delphox by beating it in a Tera Raid event, but now the entire family can be caught in the new expansion’s sprawling Terrarium.

Where to find Fennekin in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Unlike many other starters in The Indigo Disk, you’ll only find Fennekin in a very specific area on the western side of the Savanna Biome. You can see it marked on the map below:

Before you can encounter Fennekin, you’ll need to donate 3,000 BP to the Terarium Club so they can expand the biodiversity of this quadrant. You can do this by interacting with the PC in the League Club Room.

If you’re struggling to save up enough BP (or you’re just finding it tedious completing the same Blueberry Quests over and over by yourself), we’ve got a guide to farming BP fast which should come in handy.

Once you’ve donated your hard-earned BP, head over to the western side of the Savanna Biome and search for Fennekin. I found one pretty quickly, so hopefully you won’t have to hunt for too long either!

How to evolve Fennekin into Braixen

Fennekin will evolve into Braixen once it reaches Level 16.

If you’ve got a Fennekin that’s already higher than this level – which is most likely the case if you caught it in The Indigo Disk expansion – you simply need to raise it by one more stage and it will evolve straight away.

How to evolve Braixen into Delphox

Braixen evolves into Delphox as soon as it reaches Level 36.

Just like the previous evolution, if your Braixen is already above this level, you simply need to train it for one more level and it will evolve automatically. Use Exp. Candies or a Rare Candy if you’re feeling impatient.
