What is the easiest Destiny 2 Dungeon to solo?

Can you believe there are eight Dungeon activities in Destiny 2 now? First introduced in Forsaken with Shattered Throne, Dungeons have become an ideal middle step between Raids and Strikes, offering endgame mechanics and difficulty in activities that can be run with three players.

For those of you in search of a challenge, though, Dungeons can be completed solo, too. It’s a tougher way to play, naturally, but all are very possible to beat on your lonesome. Wondering which one is easiest? The answer is simple.

Shattered Throne is still the easiest Dungeon to solo in Destiny 2

As we mentioned in our Raid and Dungeon Ranking, Shattered Throne is a decent first attempt at a Dungeon – and it remains the easiest to complete solo.

Nowadays it’s not all that much more complex than a Strike, but it offers memorable encounters like the Thrallway and some platforming. It’s not got the most enemies, and the bosses are relatively simple, particularly if you’re using a solid build.

Sadly, there’s not really a great deal of loot worth farming here, so while it’s nice to say you’ve played the whole thing alone, don’t expect a whole host of new weapons or armour for your troubles.

If you’re looking for a Dungeon that can be played on your own but offers some better loot, I’d recommend checking out Grasp of Avarice. The mechanics are simple, and the bosses aren’t too tough (just a bit spongy). Still, you can net yourself some of the Bungie 30th Anniversary loot, too.
