What happened to Edward Sheeran Wife: Where is she now?

Edward Sheeran MBE (born 17 February 1991) is a singer-songwriter from England. He began writing songs at the age of eleven, after being born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk. Sheeran self-released the extended play No. 5 Collaborations Project in early 2011. The following year, he signed with Asylum Records.

Sheeran’s debut album, + (“Plus”), was released in September 2011 and debuted at the top of the UK Albums Chart. It featured his first number-one single, “The A Team.”

What happened to Edward Sheeran’s wife?

After learning that his pregnant wife, Cherry Seaborn, had been diagnosed with cancer, the Grammy Award-winning musician, Edward Sheeran stated that he wrote seven songs in four hours to cope with the tragic news.

Cherry was diagnosed with a tumour at six months pregnant, but physicians couldn’t operate on her until she had given birth.

The malignancy was removed from her, but the musician claimed he will never forget what happened. “It was horrible,” Sheeran acknowledged as he sobbed during an emotional interview.

The “Shape of You” singer opened out about his and his wife’s pain in his new Disney+ docuseries, “Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All.”

“I got diagnosed with cancer at the start of the year which was a massive s***ter, Seaborn said in the documentary.

“It made me massively reflect on our mortality. I would never agree to do anything like this, but it made me think, ‘Oh if I died, what’s people’s perception of me? What do you leave behind?’”

In the first episode of Sheeran’s docuseries “Love,” the couple opened up about their struggle with Seaborn’s cancer.

“Some people write a diary and get their emotions out through the pen and, for Ed, if something really intense happens, he’ll go and write a song,” he said.
