Can’t see a piece of content in your Instagram DM?
Instagram allows you to share posts via direct message.
You can share your own posts and other users’ posts.
To do so, tap the airplane icon below the post, select the user(s) you want to share the post with, and select “Submit”.

Why does Instagram say the content is not available?
Instagram says the content is unavailable because the original poster blocked you.
Otherwise, the post has been removed by the original poster or taken down by Instagram.
If blocked, you won’t be able to view any user-posted content.
Otherwise, posts that are deleted or taken down will no longer exist on Instagram.
What does “content not available can’t find this user” mean on Instagram?
“Content unavailable could not find this user” means that the original poster blocked you on Instagram.
As a result, you won’t be able to see their profiles and the content they post.
Otherwise, the original poster’s Instagram has been deactivated or deleted.

1. The original poster blocked you
If the content isn’t available, the original poster may have blocked you on Instagram.

Therefore, if a post is unavailable, it may be taken down.
How to fix content not available on Instagram
To fix content that isn’t available on Instagram, ask the sharer to take a screenshot of the post and send it to you.
This only works if the person who sent you the content can see it.
If neither you nor the sharer can see the post, it means that the original poster may be suspended on Instagram.
If that’s the case, you won’t be able to see the post unless the sharer takes a screenshot of it before it becomes unavailable.
