Warhammer Aos Realms of Ruin is a real-time strategy game set in the Age of Sigmar fantasy universe. Based on the trailers and gameplay we’ve seen so far, it looks a lot smaller scale than most RTS games, with the camera set quite close to the combat, allowing you to zoom in close and see the battles, and smaller groups of units.

There is a story-driven campaign that lets players choose one of the four available factions, along with a conquest mode where you can choose nodes on a map to take part in battles and slowly take over the realm. Finally, there is a multiplayer mode for those looking to battle it out online against other players.

During battles, you can construct your army from a wide list of units ranging from fast-moving flyers, to lumbering monsters, and mystical wizards. There is also a dynamic in-battle tech tree you can use to upgrade your forces and counter the enemy on the fly.

For fans of the tabletop war game, you’ll also recognise that all of the units in the game are exact replicas of their tabletop counterparts, brought to life with modern animation and high quairy visuals.
