Recently, Shailesh Lodha who played Taarak Mehta left the show.
Sachin Shroff took his place in the show. The real reason behind Shailesh’s exit was never revealed.
He and the makers of TMKOC have always maintained a distinguished silence on this. However, recently a report said that still the dues of Shailesh Lodha have not been cleared.

It was reported that Shailesh Lodha’s payment has been stopped. However, the team of TMKOC has released a statement about the same.

Suhel Ramani- Project Head of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah said, “Despite repeated communication to sign the All Dues document and collect his pending payment, Shailesh Lodha has refused to do it. When you leave any company or show, there is always a procedure that needs to be followed and fulfilled. Every artiste, staff or technician needs to do these formalities. No company will release the payment before completing the formalities.”
He further said that sometimes disgruntled people do try to spread misleading statements. Every company has a system in place.
Whenever a staff or artiste leaves, to receive full and final payment, they need to follow it. Till date company has not stopped the dues of any artist.
