Spirit Hall explained

Once you’ve selected your Primary Spirit, you’ll get a special bonus and the selected Spirit’s Skill Tag will be added to all of your unlocked skills. This essentially applies the associated bonuses of the selected Spirit to the other three, so you can create some incredibly strong combinations if you choose correctly.

Spiritborn lore explained

Spiritborn are innately tied to the Spirit Realm, which was created once Inarius and Lilith altered the Worldstone. It acts as a ghostly reflection of the Sanctuary that we know so fondly, allowing animals and creatures to realm beyond their actual life permits.

Key to the Spirit Realm are the four Spirit Guardians that protect the area. Spiritborn are able to channel and connect to these four animals, making them very powerful individuals.

One central purpose of the Spiritborn is the dedication to Akarat and Ysevete’s mission, who initially discovered and nurtured what we know of the Spirit Realm today. They, in combination with the Spirit Guardians, aim to preserve the sanctity of the Realm, and it’s harmony with Sanctuary.
