Although the game was first announced over a year ago during the August 2023 THQ Nordic Digital Showcase, the fact that we only got snippets of info since then made me think we’d be waiting a fair bit longer.
SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! gameplay & story
Continuing the story of the New Kid from Stick of Truth and The Fractured but Whole, SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! will see the town engulfed in a major snowstorm after someone has supposedly cast a level ten Endless Winter spell.
Playing action-adventure RPG battles with up to three friends, in matchmaking, or in single-player with bots, you’ll engage in epic battles between warring factions. The game will let you equip unique weapons and upgradable abilities, so you’ll be more than ready to celebrate a snow day, “the most magical day in a young child’s life” as Grand Wizard Cartman puts it.

Narrated by Cartman addressing the New Kid, this gameplay trailer dives into SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY!’s chaotic battles using both weapons and farting skills. There’s even some classic back-and-forth between Cartman and Kyle too.
Collector’s Edition Reveal
Dropping in at the same time as the release date trailer, we got a cheeky reveal of everything coming in the SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! Collector’s Edition that’s available to pre-order – including the game, a Grand Wizard Cartman Snow Globe, Cartman beanies, tarot cards, original soundtrack, and a Grand Wizard Cartman talking toilet paper holder, because South Park, I guess.
