The tide is rising again as Skull & Bones approaches its open beta period, and hopefully, its full release – but how can you take part, and what are the beta start times?
Skull & Bones has been on player’s radars for nearly seven years now, with it first being revealed in 2017. It’s been a rocky road since then, with numerous delays and direction changes, but 2024 seems to be the year it’s finally arriving.

Skull & Bones open beta start times
The Skull & Bones open beta is set to begin on February 8 at 2 am GMT. It will then run for just under four days, ending on February 12 at 11 am GMT.

How to play the open beta
As an open beta, anyone can play Skull & Bones from the above times, but the process is slightly different depending on your platform.

For PC players, using either Ubisoft Connect or the Epic Games Store, you can find the beta in the relevant launcher by navigating to the ‘Free Games’ section.
For Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 players, you’ll need to search Skull & Bones on the store and download it.
As the game is confirmed to be 65 GB, I recommend getting in on the preload 24 hours before the beta goes live so you have enough time to download before playing.
