Armored Core 6 is so close, and it is time to start worrying about the download size of the game – whether you’re on PS5, Xbox, or PC.
It feels as though whenever a new game releases, sacrifices have to be made and space needs to be cleared on your console/PC in order to install the new game. Armored Core 6’s imminent arrival means it’s probably about time to clear some space.
Armored Core 6 will act as a reboot since FromSoftware is finally returning to the series after focusing more on Soulsborne games in recent years. After the success of Elden Ring last year, the development company has never had more eyes on it.
With that said, let’s dive into how much storage you will need in order to play Armored Core 6 given its download size.
What is the Armored Core 6 download size?

According to the Armored Core 6 Steam page, you will need 60 GB of available space in order to download the game. This is obviously subject to change and is best used as a rough guide before launch. As with many modern releases, there will likely be a day one patch to consider as well.
We will have an exact number before the launch, though. Be sure to check in again once we can give a more accurate reading of how much space you will need to clear.
What is the Armored Core 6 download size on PS4 and PS5?

It has not been officially revealed so far what the download size will be for Armored Core 6. However, according to the Twitter page PlayStation Game Size, the PS5 version is expected to be 43.4 GB with the PS4 version a whopping 55.7 GB. The PS5 version is noticeably smaller than the edition of the game released on the previous generation of consoles.
We will have to wait and see how reliable these numbers are upon release, although the Twitter page is normally reliable.

Currently, it is not known how big the game will be on Xbox. While it’s a safe bet that the required storage space will be similar to the PlayStation equivalents, we can’t know for certain just yet.
