Motsi Mabuse is a South African dancer who was born on April 11, 1981, in Mankwe, Bophutatswana, South Africa. She gained notoriety as a professional dancer who competed in the German dance competition Let’s Dance and later became a judge, a role she has maintained since 2011. She has been a judge on the British edition of Strictly Come Dancing since 2019.

Mabuse relocated to Germany in order to expand her dance skills after winning the South African Latin American Championship eight times.
Mabuse made an appearance on the eighth season of Let’s Dance, the German adaptation of Strictly Come Dancing, in 2015 as a professional dancer. Daniel Küblböck, a singer, was her partner. After placing sixth in week nine, the couple was eliminated.
Mabuse made a comeback to Let’s Dance as a professional dancer in 2016 for the ninth season. Niels Ruf, a television personality, was her partner. In week 2, the couple was the first to go, finishing in 14th place.
Mabuse made her professional debut in the 13th season of Strictly Come Dancing in 2015. Anthony Ogogo, an Olympic boxer, was her partner. After placing 14th in Week 3, the couple was eliminated.
