Oti Mabuse posted pictures of herself and her husband, Marius Iepure, wearing matching holiday attire, a baby in her arms, and a Christmas tree in the backdrop on Instagram on Christmas Day.

Mabuse relocated to Germany in order to expand her dance skills after winning the South African Latin American Championship eight times.

Mabuse made an appearance on the eighth season of Let’s Dance, the German adaptation of Strictly Come Dancing, in 2015 as a professional dancer. Daniel Küblböck, a singer, was her partner. After placing sixth in week nine, the couple was eliminated.

Mabuse made a comeback to Let’s Dance as a professional dancer in 2016 for the ninth season. Niels Ruf, a television personality, was her partner. In week 2, the couple was the first to go, finishing in 14th place.

Mabuse made her professional debut in the 13th season of Strictly Come Dancing in 2015. Anthony Ogogo, an Olympic boxer, was her partner. After placing 14th in Week 3, the couple was eliminated.

She also took part in the show’s Children in Need and Christmas specials that year, collaborating with actors Tom Chambers and Jack Ashton, respectively.

For the 14th series of the show, Mabuse was paired with Danny Mac, a former Hollyoaks actor, in 2016. The pair advanced to the final and took second place overall. She was paired with Paralympic sprinter Jonnie Peacock for the show’s fifteenth series in 2017, but they were eliminated in ninth place in Week 9.

For the 16th series of the show, she was paired with England cricketer Graeme Swann; they were eliminated in seventh place in Week 10.

She was paired with former Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher in 2019 for her fifth season of the show. Jamie Laing, star of Made in Chelsea, had to withdraw from the series due to a foot injury he suffered while dancing in the opening episode.

They eventually emerged victorious in the series. The following year, Laing’s participation in the 18th series was confirmed, but she was repaired with another professional, Karen Hauer.

Meanwhile, Mabuse, paired with comedian and actor Bill Bailey, advanced to the series finale and emerged victorious, making Mabuse the only pro to win the show twice in a row (the other being Aliona Vilani, who won series 9 and 13).
