Nick Ahmed children-American professional baseball shortstop, Nicholas Mark Ahmed was born on March 15, 1990, in Springfield, Massachusetts in the United States of America.

Ahmed played in 57 games and hit.266 with five home runs and 29 RBIs during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season. Ahmed played for the Diamondbacks in 129 games in 2021, recording a line of.221/.280/.339 with 5 home runs, 38 RBI, and 7 stolen bases.

For Arizona in 2022, Ahmed appeared in 17 games while batting.231/.259/.442 with 3 home runs and 7 RBI. He was put on the 60-day disabled list on June 8, 2022, due to inflammation in his right shoulder. Ahmed was the first player in Diamondbacks history to spend 10 seasons with the team when he did it in 2023.
