There are eight new Icons available in EA FC 24 – and it is the first time that female Icons will be available in the game, which is incredibly exciting. Check out the list below for all of the new Icons in EA FC 24:

  • Mia Hamm
  • Bobby Charlton
  • Birgit Prinz
  • Zico
  • Homare Sawa

  • Camille Abily

Players have been asking for cards like Charlton and Zico for years, and it is no surprise that Ribéry makes the jump straight after his last standard year of FUT in FIFA 23. Furthermore, EA has certainly selected a top range of cards for the first women’s Icons in EA FC 24, with players like Hamm, Sawa, and Abily likely surging to the top of the meta.

The chemistry for Icons is being overhauled slightly this time around, after not being as effective in last year’s game because of the new system.

Now, Icons will give 1 boost to every single player, and then an extra boost if they share the same nationality. If you would like to know even more about how chemistry will work in EA FC 24, we have you covered here.

EA FC 24 Icon versions explained

Icon versions are completely changing in EA FC 24, as the three versions (Base, Mid, and Prime) have been removed in favour of one single Icon version. So, when you pack Zidane or Pele, that will be the only version of that player in the game outside of promo cards.

This will likely have an effect on the availability of Icon packs and SBCs in the early game, but we’re sure that EA will find some way to integrate them into the game whether that be by raising the price or by putting a ratings cap on the pack itself.

There will also be buffs to certain Icons to make them more viable or true to their real-life counterpart’s legacy. Theirry Henry, for example, has received a +10 boost to his balance, and Ruud van Nistelrooy has been bumped up to four-star Weak Foot.

That is all you need to know about all of the Icons appearing in FC 24, we still are waiting for some announcements on who is coming next. So be sure to check back in once we have more news regarding releases. If you can’t wait for the new game, take a look at our hands-on impressions of the game so far.
