Michael Jones Children: Who Are Michael Jones Children?: Michael Jones, better known as Ted DiBiase’s bodyguard Virgil in WWF in the late 1980s and early 1990s, has died, aged 61.

The cause of death for Jones, who had been dealing with health issues has not been made public. In April 2022, he shared on X that he had suffered two strokes and been diagnosed with an early stage of dementia

The death of the former WWE star was announced on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in a post on his verified Instagram account.

“This is to confirm the sad news about our beloved Meatsauce God and Wrestling Superstar Virgil/Michael Jones has passed away. There is so much to say here and would love to share stories but for now it’s a rough day as our friend is gone. We would only ask at this time to remember him as the man that he was,” the post continued. “Wishing him all the unlimited pasta in heaven. We love you Mike.”

Who Are Michael Jones Children?

The rebellion made “Virgil one of WWE’s most popular Superstars” according to his’ WWE biography.

He eventually landed a prominent role when he joined WCW as a member of the New World Order in 1996, joining the group with DiBiase.

In WCW, Jones went by the name Vincent and occasionally wrestled while mainly serving as muscle for the group.

He wrestled his final match in 2020. Following his demise, the wrestling world paid tribute on social media.

He briefly reinvented himself as Curly Bill for the wrestling outfit the West Texas Rednecks before leaving the WCW in 2000 when he retired due to injury.

Jones continued to make independent appearances as his various personas before his health began to deteriorate.

In 2022, he revealed that he had dementia and colon cancer. He also suffered several strokes.

Among those to pay tribute to him following news of his death on Wednesday were WWE Hall of Fame inductee Jake “The Snake” Roberts.
