It’s also worth mentioning that according to the Steam page, the games in the Master Collection all require a controller, as keyboard and mouse aren’t supported.

There will likely be a mod in the future to make it compatible, but if it’s a dealbreaker that you have to use a controller, it may be worth waiting. However, the MGS games were ultimately designed with controllers in mind, so they are the optimal way of experiencing the games.
