He was also a photographer and opened a bookshop in Paris named 7L which specializes in books about visual knowledge and photography.

In 2015, he opened first Karl Lagerfeld Store at Lagoona Mall in Doha, Qatar.

In 2018, he designed a 6-star hotel in Macau
