He carried for 1,899 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior, earning him a spot on the first team of the FCS All-Americans and the Conference for the third straight year. With 4,444 running yards at the end of his college career, Robinson had the second-highest total in program history.

Robinson joined the Jacksonville Jaguars on April 27, 2020, as an undrafted free agent, not long after the 2020 NFL Draft had ended.

Out of training camp, Robinson was included on the 53-man roster for the Jaguars’ regular season, and a few days later, the team named him their starting running back.

In the opening game of the 2020 campaign against the Indianapolis Colts, Robinson made his NFL debut. In the 27-20 triumph, he tallied 16 carries for 62 rushing yards and a grab for 28 receiving yards after leaping over Colts defender Khari Willis.

Robinson broke the record for the most rushing yards by an undrafted rookie in Week 1 and became the fourth undrafted rookie running back to start the first game since 1970.

After Dominic Rhodes, LeGarrette Blount, and Phillip Lindsay, Robinson is the fourth undrafted player in NFL history to carry for 1,000 yards in his first season.

Robinson’s season was over after tearing his Achilles against the New York Jets in Week 16 of the 2021 campaign. Over 14 games, he collected 767 rushing yards and eight touchdowns.

Breece Hall’s ACL injury ended his 2022 season, and on October 25, 2022, Robinson was moved to the New York Jets in exchange for a conditional sixth-round selection.

Robinson agreed to a 2-year, $8 million contract with the New England Patriots on March 15, 2023.
