The former president of IMG Models, Ivan Bart died at 60 on Friday, 27 October 2023 after a short illness. His death was confirmed by Mark Shapiro, president and chief operating officer of Endeavor, which owns IMG Models.

Before Ivan Bart died in October 2023, he had a male partner and was a proud member of the LGBTQ community. The former IMG Models president was in a relationship with his partner Grant Greenberg.
Grant Greenberg is a cinematographer born and raised in South Africa. He’s a graduate of the MFA filmmaking program at New York University. Grant is known for his work as a director in his thesis film, Cricket Head.
Grant worked on other films including The Nanny Diaries (2007) and My Heavenly City (2023). In addition to his narrative and documentary work, he regularly shoots commercial projects with clients including V Magazine, Chanel, Lancôme, Audi, and Maybelline.
Following the announcement of his demise via Instagram, tribute comments began pouring in from people in the fashion community who knew and loved him deeply.

Bart first joined IMG Models in 1994 and served as president from 2014. He later stepped down but remained a senior advisor.
Since joining the IMG as president, Bart played a powerful role in pushing for size diversity in the industry.
During three decades at IMG Models, he guided the careers of many of the most successful models in the industry and also changed the shape and face of the modeling industry
Bart was behind some of the biggest faces of the industry. Throughout his career, he worked with models such as Carolyn Murphy, Paloma Elsesser, Precious Lee, Stephanie Seymour, Ashley Graham, Halima Aden, and Hari Nef.
