How to upgrade Kratos’ stats in God of War: Ragnarok Valhalla
Stats can be permanently upgraded by using the Tablet of Reflection and temporarily by finding Stat Glyphs around Valhalla.

To permanently upgrade Kratos’ stats, you will need a certain amount of Mastery Seals. These Mastery Seals are located all across the Nine Realms in Valhalla. You can find them in chests and vases and even by defeating enemies.

Additionally, completing mastery challenges and labours will also reward you with Mastery Seals.These challenges vary, like getting a certain number of kills with your weapons, using certain shields or Rage, and finding Relics. After you do those, you will get the Mastery Seals necessary for upgrading.

If you have a lot of Master Seals, you can upgrade certain stats two or three times. The higher your difficulty is in Valhalla, the better chance you have of getting more Mastery Seals. So, if you want to fully upgrade Kratos’ stats quickly, then go for the higher difficulty only if you’re skilled enough.

To temporarily upgrade your stats while you are on a run in Valhalla, you’ll need to find Stat Glyphs. These are essentially chests with a triangle-like symbol you can find. Certain doors marked with these will lead to these chests, and with that, you can temporarily boost your stats. If you die, however, your stats will reset, and you will start with the stats you had when you started your previous run.
