How to unlock Tobio’s Hollow Chasm in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To unlock Tobio’s Hollow Chasm in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you need to start the quest “Guidance from Ages Past” and go to 1372 | -3298 | 0468 (Dragon Head Island).
Once you get there, cut through some vines and open the big door (you need at least 10 hearts).
Finally, build a plane out of building materials, fly down, take out the beam, line it up with the Altar and complete the super-mechanical production.
Here’s how to do this (expanding screenshot above):
- Start the quest “Guidance from Ages Past” (go through the first cutscene where you start crafting the super mech).
- Use a flying bike and go to these coordinates in the sky: 1372 | -3298 | 0468 (Dragon Head Island).
- Have at least 10 hearts, cut through some vines and open the door.
- Use building materials (wings, fans and steering controls) to build the plane, attach a beam to it and fly down.
- Take the beam off the wing and go to the Altar.
- Make the beam align with it to reveal a hidden door and a staircase.
- Take the beam, climb down the stairs and place it in the middle.
- Interact with Muokuij Lightroot behind the elevator.
- Climb back up to the Construct Factory and pick up the Zonai device with the laser.
- Take the device towards the plate, stack it up and place it inside to make the head of the statue.
Tip #1: If you can’t get past the fence/old man, you need to defeat all four phenomena in the area, talk to Purah and you need to go to the castle to fight Ganon.
Tip #2: You also need to unlock the Ukoojisi Temple in the sky—to unlock it, go to Popla Foothills Skyview Tower and fly over it.
These steps are also required to perform the copy glitch (to remove the big statue).
