For the first few hours of RoboCop: Rogue City, you won’t need to use the flashlight much as it rarely ever gets truly dark in the game. However, during the Field Training mission where you’re helping out Officer Washington, the flashlight will become your best friend.
During this mission, you’re helping Officer Washington find his feet as he completes some fieldwork. On this mission, you will find yourself searching through a basement looking for a cat – standard RoboCop behaviour.
However, Robocop: Rogue City doesn’t do a fantastic job of explaining how to flick on the flashlight in the game. Here’s what you need to know about it.

Using the flashlight in RoboCop is simple, but no one ever tells you how. All you need to press the right stick (R3) and you will see the world through a green light, making it much easier to see in front of you.
Later on in the game, a few different side quests will require you to use the flashlight, and now you can get by without a hitch.
