Deezer is a music streaming app, but I prefer Apple Music. Apple’s editorial team does an excellent job of recommending music, and their playlists are often excellent. I’m returning to Apple Music after experimenting with multiple music streaming apps over the past few weeks.
Since I use YouTube a lot, I’ve decided to keep the YouTube Premium account, which also gives me access to YouTube Music. Well, I’m not the only one keeping two music streaming apps, am I?
I discovered some great songs while using Deezer, which are now neatly organized in my playlist. To move my playlists from Deezer to Apple Music, I tested a few web apps and mobile apps that I’m sharing below. It will also help you.
Let’s get started.
1. Sound
Soundiiz is a popular web application that works with many music streaming services including some lesser known services like Playzer and Audiomack. Open the website using the link below and click the Get Started Now button.
Use your social media accounts to log in quickly.
Once in, scroll a bit to find and click the Transfer button.
Select the Playlist option.
Select Deezer as your source and log in to grant the necessary permissions.
Select the playlist you want to transfer and click Confirm and continue.
You can change the title, description, remove duplicate tracks, and make playlists private or public here. Click Save configuration when finished.
You can remove the songs you don’t want to move from the playlist here. Click Confirm Watchlist when done.
Now, select Apple Music as your destination and sign in.
The transfer will begin immediately, and you’ll see the playlist in your Apple Music app. If you can’t sign in to your Apple account on Chrome, use the Firefox browser instead and make sure you have an active Apple Music subscription and that the iCloud Music Library option is turned on under Music in Setting.
Soundiiz pro version will cost you $3 per month and allows you to sync playlists between music apps and transfer other music related data like favorites, whole albums , etc
2. Stamps
Stamp supports a limited number of music apps, but you can use it on almost any desktop or mobile operating system. The interface is easy to use and the process is more or less the same as Soundiiz. For this tutorial, I will be using an iPhone. Open Stamp and select Deezer as your source. Sign in to your account.
Now choose Apple Music as your destination. As mentioned earlier, don’t forget to enable iCloud Music Library under Music in Settings.
You can now select your playlist and start the transfer process by clicking Next.
Stamp will only transfer ten songs from a single playlist in the free version. The paid version will cost you $9.99 for one platform and $14.99 for all platforms.
3. Switch songs
SongShift is an iOS app, so if you’re not an iPhone user, skip to the next section. Download the app using the link below and tap Connect Your Music to choose Deezer as your source.
In the same screen, you can also connect your Apple Music account.
Once both services have been added, tap the ‘+’ icon again to select Setup Source where you will select Playlists in Deezer.
Now select the playlist you want to transfer and tap on Set Destination on the next screen.
Select Apple Music here, and you can choose to create a new playlist or merge songs with an existing playlist. I selected New Playlist. Tap I’m done to start the transfer.

4. Tune in to my music
Tune My Music, like Soundiiz, supports many music streaming applications and is a web-only application. Let’s see how it works. Click the Let’s Get Started button.
Select Deezer as your source and log in to your account.
Enter your playlist URL, if you have one, or select your playlist manually.
You can select any or all playlists here.
Click Apple Music to select it as your destination and sign in.
Review your options and click Start Migrate My Music to begin the process.
Tune My Music is free to use and I don’t see a single ad.
Move with music
Moving playlists from one music player to another is quite easy when you use one of the services mentioned above. Transferring playlists takes a few minutes depending on how many songs and playlists you have. While all free services have a downside, it’s up to you to see which of them are manageable.
