Android N Preview has brought surprises. Last week, a video was posted on YouTube demonstrating 3D touch on Android. Force sensing functionality has been available since API level 5 (Android 1.0). Well, Google has finally figured out the best way to implement it. Along with that, Google also launched a new set of Emojis in Android N 2 Preview. So I will show you how to get these new Emojis on your Android.

We previously showed you how to install Android 6.0.1 Emojis. So if you follow that guide the process is the same. We will flash a zip file containing the Emojis. You will need a custom recovery (CWM or TWRP) and of course a Nandroid backup to quickly revert back to what you had before in case something goes wrong.
Before that, let’s see what’s new in these Emojis.
New Android N Emojis
Android 6.0.1 Emojis are more based on iOS Emojis. Now, Google has gone a step further and made them look more like iOS. The expression of these Android N Emojis is the same as the iOS Emojis. Here is a comparison between the Emojis.
Now they look more like iOS but still keep the Android style.
Now, the best improvement Google has made is a human face with a skin tone picker. Now they look more realistic and the same as before. Here is a comparison.
There are minor changes to almost all Emojis. It’s a new set of Unicode 9.0 Emojis. You can see the full list of changes in Android N at Emojipedia.

How to get these new Android N Emojis
Last time we used CWM recovery to flash Android 6.0.1 Emojis. Here, we will use TWRP recovery. Again, before flashing, don’t forget to backup Nandroid. It is not something that will definitely go wrong. But, it’s better to be on the safer side. So boot into recovery and flash this zip file.
Swipe right and install the zip file.
Restart the System and check if Emoji are installed. Here is a screenshot of the new Emoji on my phone.
Do you need a standalone app to suggest Emoji and GIFs? We’ve got it here.
Flash without using Custom Recovery (Needs root)
If you are an Android rooting expert, then you probably know this. You can flash zip files using an Android app called Flash Gordon. Or else you can use Flashfire, which is trending now.
