How to get a green check mark in Super Mario Bros Wonder

Gaining a green check mark in Super Mario Bros Wonder is the best way to know you’ve fully completed a level. In this guide, we’ll explain everything you need to do in order to get green ticks on each level.

Like most Mario games, Wonder has a lot of different levels and loads of secrets to uncover within them. I’ve been loving my time with the game, finding all the different collectables in each course.

To get a green check mark, you’ll need to fully complete a level, and we’ll show you how to do just that. So keep reading for our full rundown of all the requirements for green check marks in Super Mario Bros Wonder!

To get a green check mark on a course in Super Mario Bros Wonder, you need to find all Wonder Seeds, collect all big Purple Coins worth 10, and grab the top of the flagpole at the end of the level.

If you’ve done all of these things, you should be able to see a faint green check mark when you view the course from the course selection screen.

However, some levels have secret exits that you must find in order to fully complete them. For example, Piranha Plants on Parade has a secret exit that leads you to another Wonder Seed not visible on the Kingdom Map.

If it looks like you’ve fully completed a level but you’ve got no check mark, that means you’ll need to find a secret exit within that level.

What do you get for green check marks in Super Mario Bros Wonder?

You don’t get anything specifically for getting a green check mark on a course in Wonder.

However, it’s important to get them if you want to complete the game fully. You’ll be getting green checks for certain activities that are required for a 100% completion.

There are gold medals you can get for fully completing certain parts of the game, including all Wonder Seeds, all Purple Coins, and grabbing the top of every flagpole. These are all requirements for green check marks too, so you’ll naturally need to get all the green ticks on your way towards 100% completion.

That’s it for this guide, but check out our Mario homepage for more content, or take a look at this Standees guide if you’re curious to know more about that feature in the game.
