How to Fix Riot Client Not Opening

Riot Client not opening, not launching or not working?

Riot Client is an all-in-one hub that allows you to download, install, play, or browse Riot’s library of games.

Every time you log into a Riot game, the client will be used.

The only difference is that you will have to enter your credentials to get started.

After entering your credentials, you will be able to switch between games without additional logins.

Each game-specific client will remain unchanged, and you can still use your old desktop shortcuts.

In this guide, you will learn how to fix Riot Client that won’t open or launch for Valorant or League of Legends for Windows 11/10.

Why is my Riot Client not launching?

Riot Client does not launch because the latest update may contain bugs or glitches.

If the client does not open, it could also be due to an outdated graphics card or version of Windows.

Some anti-virus programs may conflict with the game.

Riot Games will take some time to roll out the next update to fix the bugs from the previous update.

In the meantime, there are several methods that you can try to troubleshoot your client (more on that below).
