Why can’t I invite friends in Warzone 2?
You cannot invite friends in Warzone 2 because of a bug with the social tab.
If you select the social tab, the “Status” pop-up will appear.
The “Status” pop-up will indicate that it is fetching your online profile.
However, it crashes after a few seconds and you will go to the main menu.
According to Raven Software on Twitter, they are currently working on a fix for the social menu.

How to fix the error of not inviting friends in Warzone 2
To fix the error of not being able to invite friends in Warzone 2, you need to go to the channel page (by selecting the headset tab) and select your team.
After you have selected your group, select “Invite to channel”, select the friends you want to invite and select “Invite to join group”.

- Instead of going to the social tab, select the headset tab.
