Season of the Infernal Hordes in Diablo 4 introduces the Hellbreach Dungeons, which act like mini versions of Nightmare Dungeons. These let you experience the new Infernal Hordes mechanic and give you a chance to collect Burning Aethers.
If you need to know where to find them and, more importantly, how to complete them, here’s everything you’ll need to know.
How to find Hellbreach Dungeons
Hellbreach Dungeons are marked by the typical dungeon logo, with a green leaf at the top right. You can find the names of the three, what area to locate them, and a map showing the location below:
- The Omath Breach – Kehjistan
- The Dulra Breach – Scosglen
- The Civo Breach – Dry Steppes
Once you locate one, you’ll notice an orange glow surrounded by rocky spikes protruding from the ground. Click to enter and get to killing.
Considering these are part of the Seasonal Journey and the main questline for this season, you should come across these naturally while playing anyway.
How to complete Hellbreach Dungeons
Hellbreach Dungeons are split into rooms, with each room requiring you to complete an objective before moving on; these can be destroying Aetheric Masses, killing enemies near a Soulspire, or defeating Aether Fiends.
The final room is the boss room, who must be defeated before you can access the treasure chests and your rewards.

As you finish rooms in a Hellbreach Dungeon, you can select Hell Callers, which modify the rest of the dungeon with more difficulty, but also more rewards as a consequence. These also apply to the boss battle.
As you play through the dungeon, the main thing you’ll acquire is Burning Aethers. These are spent to open the Spoils of Hell and Spoils of Gold chests after the boss. I recommend opening the chest that costs the most for the best rewards.
