How to Create Custom Mute Durations in Telegram on Desktop and Mobile

Like WhatsApp, Telegram makes it easy to connect with friends and family around the globe. That constant conversation can be fun for a while, but then becomes inconvenient. Turn off your network to prevent a flood of messages. However, you may miss important messages. So you can set certain notifications about selected Telegram conversations or groups to be muted.

The feature to mute notifications from Telegram chats or groups has been around for a while. However, this only allows the user to mute the chat for a certain amount of time. With Telegram’s April 2022 update, you can mute notifications for a custom interval. To create a custom mute duration in Telegram on desktop and mobile, follow these steps.
